Who We Are

Earth & Spirit is an ecologically minded landscape company based in Albany, Oregon, offering design services, consultation, and garden maintenance. Founded by Jessica Wright in 2018 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Earth & Spirit has since relocated to Oregon and is happy to now serve the Pacific Northwest, as well. Jessica brings a lifetime of nature exploration and years of hands-on experience growing and maintaining native and edible gardens. With a degree in horticultural design, certifications in permaculture design and water-efficient landscaping, she is dedicated to creating thoughtful, sustainable, and restorative solutions for your garden.

We are committed to conserving natural resources, supporting biodiversity, and restoring habitat for wildlife through our residential landscape work. We believe that a garden can be a sanctuary for all — a place of refuge for native plants and wildlife, as well as a source of beauty, inspiration, and peace for the people who tend it.

Earth & Spirit offers in-person design services throughout the Willamette Valley and remote design and consultation services across California, Oregon, and Washington. Whether you need a comprehensive landscape design—including plants, hardscape, 3D renderings, and detailed plans for an installer—or simply hourly consultation to support you as you design and install your own garden, we are happy to tailor our services to fit your needs and budget.

Ecological Garden Care

​

For clients within a 30-mile radius of Albany, Oregon, we offer ecologically minded garden care with the goal of safeguarding and maximizing the benefits of your native garden. Whether you prefer a monthly or quarterly care schedule or just need an occasional helping hand, our low-impact approach keeps your garden looking well-tended while still allowing nature the space it needs to thrive. Embracing a touch of wildness is essential to maintaining a healthy and vibrant habitat garden.

Maintenance services include:

• Fine-pruning

• Hand-weeding

• Mulch replenishment (using fallen leaves and yard trimmings when available)

• Edible garden bed and fruit tree care

• Drip-irrigation tune-ups

Earth & Spirit does not use toxic pesticides or fertilizers, and we prefer hand tools over power tools for most garden care tasks.​
